Please note, Bishop Sanborn has never answered this, nor has he subsequently improved his arguments. In a recent newsletter he added another novelty, equally false with the ones exposed in the attached article. He stated, “In order that sacraments may be lawfully distributed, it is necessary that the priest have sacramental jurisdiction from the bishop of the diocese.” See: https://inveritateblog.com/2020/06/08/s ... /#more-700
I wrote to Bishop Sanborn and asked, "Could you please provide an authority for this statement?" He declined to do so.
