New post Prayers for an ill trad friend
In your charity you are urged to pray for Mr. Gordon Bateman, an elderly traditional Catholic friend who suffered a stroke yesterday or Friday and is recovering in hospital. He can communicate and the doctors consider him safe, but he could certainly use some prayers. A traditional priest has heard his confession today.

Yours in Christ our Risen King,
John Lane.

How is Mr. Bateman, one week on? I shall keep him in my prayers.

My own father died of a massive stroke over 11 years ago, and I ask your prayers for the repose of his soul - his name, John Patrick Shea.

We will certainly add him to our family list.

Mr. Bateman is only slightly affected by his ordeal, and is in good spirits and may even be driving his car again in the next few weeks. Thanks for asking.
