 Death of Father Carl Pulvermacher
Don't know if this is allowed but am posting this from Angelqueen.
Fr. Carl Pulvermacher, OFM Cap., passed away at 9:30 am Central Time, about 30 minutes ago. At his bedside praying were two friends of mine, parishioners of the church he helped to found, Queen of Angels in Dickinson Texas. He died a holy and peaceful death, and will be sorely missed. I was able to say some of the prayers for the dying at his bedside yesterday with the Canticle of the Sun for our Franciscan friend. I will announce the time of his funeral as soon as the details are known. Rest in peace, Fr. Carl.

Thank-you Justin, I know Flavia was saddened that there was no priest present for him.

 No, alas
John, I did not, unfortunately. I conducted a series of interviews in order to paint a mosaic. I found a happy, joyful, never-complaining hard working priest who died in the state of grace. I wish I had met him.

So do I.
Thank you for doing the work necessary to put together a good biographical sketch. It has been lacking in many cases, sadly, so that the example of such men has in some cases died with them.
