Thank you all for your prayers for Mr. Floyd Gattis.

His daughter relayed to me that "He is very ill; strong in will, but failing in body and mind. Very difficult for him to speak."

He has, however, thanks to your prayers, been able to regain some composure and enough relief from the pain in order to pray somewhat himself again - so he can prepare his soul for Our Lord.

New post Floyd Gattis, Requiescat In Pace
Mr. Gattis passed away on Tuesday evening. His daughter would like to thank everyone for their prayers that the the pain and incoherence would abate, and they did, so that her father was able to pray and prepare himself to meet Our Lord.

From his daughter:

My dad died last night(July 4th/5th) around 12:30. It was very peaceful; he never opened his eyes, just stopped breathing. He had the Traditional Last Rites just a couple hours before, and my sister, my husband and I were with him, and my mother was in her bed next to his. The grandchildren had all seen him recently, as well as baby the babies. He was a good man, and I miss him so much already.
